Abstract
424,828. Clock cases. KIENZLE UHRENFABRIKEN AKT.-GES., Schwenningen-on-Neckar, Germany. Nov. 7, 1934, Nos. 32023 and 32024. Convention dates, April 16 and May 26. [Class 139] A clock 3 has a pivotal strut, or legs 4 for supporting it as shown in Fig. 3, and may be detachably connected with a case comprising hinged covers 1, Fig. 1, to form a travelling clock. The lower cover 1 has pivoted thereto a holder 2 formed with channels 5 into which the strut or legs 4 are adapted to slide, spring catches 6 on the holder locking the clock in position by engaging recesses in the strut legs 4. In another embodiment the strut 4 shaped as shown in Fig. 9, has at its lower edge a bracket 10 having spring catches 8 adapted for detachable pivotal engagement with a spindle 9 extending across the lower case cover 1, Fig. 6.
