According to the invention, the capsule is of circular form with a substantially continuous inturned edge 2 to hold the pad. A portion 2<a> of the edge of the capsule may be cut away to clear the face of the pulley. The capsules 1 are spaced apart by the shouldered pivot pins of the chain.
