Abstract

418,474. Washing-machines. BREIJ, N. G., 372h, Govert Flinckstraat, Amsterdam, and KLOES, N. J., Zwanenburg, near Halfweg, both in Holland. Dec. 28, 1933, No. 36463. [Class 138 (ii).] The rotary receptacle 1 of a washing or drying machine is divided into two compartments by a flat partition 2 extending axially, and each compartment is provided with a door 4 and with a longitudinally extending rib 3 running along its inside wall. The ribs are arranged centrally along the curved walls and are formed by bending the walls inwardly at these points. The walls, as shown, may be formed of slats.
