Abstract

418,355. Building blocks. COMPAGNIES REUNIES DES GLACES ET VERRES SPECIAUX DU NORD DE LA FRANCE, Boussois sur Sambre, Nord, France. April 13, 1934, No. 11230. Convention date, June 26, 1933. [Class 87 (i).] A hollow transparent building-block 1 of parallelopiped shape is provided on its upper face with one or more tenons 3 each adapted to fit within an upper block and having a groove 8 into which cement can spread when the two blocks are being assembled together. The blocks are arranged in rows each displaced by half a block with respect to the adjacent rows, half blocks completing the rows where necessary. As shown, two tenons of a block are separated by a width l adapted to accommodate the ends of two superposed blocks with a vertical filling 4 of cement.
