Abstract

417,815. Road signals for controlling traffic. WILLIAMSON, H., 19, Alexandra Road, Swiss Cottage, London. Sept. 22, 1933, No. 26234. [Class 118 (ii).] A pedestrian signal for road crossings comprises red and green lights in the form of a cross or a single cross which can be illuminated either red or green. An amber signal may also be provided. As shown in the Figure the crosses 3 and 4 comprise series of apertures which can be illuminated from behind. The word " Pedestrians " is cut out of the front of the casing and is also illuminated.
