Abstract

Leading-in conductors for use with borosilicate glass and the like consist of 70-85 per cent of tungsten and 15-30 per cent of nickel or of nickel and cobalt, the amount of cobalt preferably not exceeding 5 per cent. The conductors are particularly applicable to luminous discharge tubes made of borosilicate glass filled with sodium, cadmium, magnesium, or thallium vapour. Specifications 7847/95, 17438/08, 17610/08, 19311/08, 19564/08, [all in Class 82], and 193,329, [Class 39 (ii)], are referred to.
