417,095. Extracting juice from lemons &c. SUDDEUTSCHE METALLWARENFABRIK KOMM. GES., Mussbach, Rheinpfalz, Germany. Feb. 17, 1934, No. 5264. Convention date, Dec. 30, 1933. [Class 28 (ii).] A lemon-slice squeezer for table use comprises a container 2, preferably formed to represent a bird, the end or beak 9 being a pouring spout, and a curved lever 1 pivoted at the eye 3 of the bird. The bottom 4, 8, 5 of the container and the curvature of the lever 1 conform to the shape of the lemon slice. The lever 1 is formed with downturned marginal flanges which prevent the peel from being squeezed and thus the bitter substance in the peel is not mixed with the juice. The lever is also formed with a longitudinal central groove which centralizes the slice during the squeezing. When the lever 1 is pressed into the container, the end 13, with the handle part 14 of the container, represent the tail of the bird.
