Divided out of 416,435. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (v).] In a system for tuning a modulated carrier wave receiver, such as a wireless receiver from a remote point, the selecting mechanism comprises a plug board, which may be in the form of a map, the insertion of a plug in the appropriate position initiating movement of a drum coupled to the tuning condenser to move it to the required position determined by a selected brush contacting with an insulated segment on the drum. An auxiliary control enables the drum to be moved so that the brush is on different parts of the segment to allow for fine tuning. The plug may move a wave change switch when inserted into the socket of a long-wave station. The description is identical with that in Specification 416,435.
