Abstract
416,196. Labels; seals. KIMBALL CO., A., 307, West Broadway, New York, U.S.A.-(Assignees of Laencher, F. W.; Elmhurst, New York, U.S.A.) Oct. 11, 1933, No. 28065. Convention date, Nov. 18, 1932. [Classes 73 and 146 (ii).] A price tag is folded to form two flaps 1, 2, one of which carries e fastening device 3 such as a wire staple adapted to pass through the article and an aperture 4 in flap 2, which flap is provided with a tab 5 adapted to be sealed over the fastening 3. A lock seal device for this purpose is shown in Fig. 4, and has interengagable members 7, 8, mounted respectively on the tab 5 and flap 2, and adapted to be pressed together so that prongs 16 irremovably engage the bead 12. The flange 11 may be weakened as at 17 so as to break if tampered with, and the tab 5 may be perforated as at 19 to facilitate authorized detachment.
