Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, March 13, 1934]. Divided on 409,347. [Class 145 (i).] Wood which has been rendered flexible by longitudinal compression carried out while the wood is in a temporary state of softening, produced, for example by steaming or cooking and succeeded by a drying operation, e.g. as described in Specification 409,347, has the flexibility destroyed by heating the wood to a temperature exceeding the drying temperature.
