Abstract

414,568. Distributing music &c. SOC. ANON. DES ATELIERS BRILLIE FRERES, 28, Boulevard de Villiers, Levallois-Perret, Seine, France. Dec. 13, 1933, No. 35108. Convention date, Dec. 14, 1932. [Class 40 (iv).] Subscribers are prevented from communicating with each other over a news-distributing network by providing a separate thermionic amplifier for each line and, as in the system shown, which is for distributing signals from a talking clock, the subscriber on, for example, line a<1> wishing to make use of the system energizes relay b1 which operates a meter, lights the filament of the individual amplifier and sets the talking clock in action. Each line may have an emergency amplifier which is switched on automatically on failure of that normally used. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 the primary windings of the transformers may be used to perform the function of the relays b. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
