Abstract

413,621. Impedance networks. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L. M. ERICSSON, 33, Kungsgatan, Stockholm. Oct. 11, 1932, No. 28351. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Oct. 31, 1932]. [Classes 40 (iii) and 40 (v).] The inductances forming a filter in a balanced circuit have the form of two oppositely connected transformers, in order that the balance may not be destroyed by the effect of disturbance currents or of signal currents on the value of the inductances. The Figure shows a telephone station D with high-pass filter HF using the same line l as two telegraph stations A, B, with low-pass filter LF. The inductances of the latter filter comprise two transformers M1, M2, having equal coils which are oppositely connected as shown. The system is symmetrically earthed at the mid points of the shunt impedances. A similar arrangement may be applied to a system comprising a telephone phantom circuit with two telephone side circuits on which carrier telephony is superimposed. (Fig. 3, not shown).
