413,480. Boxes or bins. OWEN, A. G. B., Victoria Iron Works, Darlaston, South Staffordshire. June 6, 1933, No. 16182. [Class 18.] A box, tray, or bin for bolts, nuts, and other goods has a wall 12 which is outwardly inclined to provide access to the interior and extends to the level of the upper edges of the adjacent walls 14, 15 which, or the bottom 16 or both, are adapted so that the bin may be directly supported upon a similar bin against lateral movement. As shown the upper edge of the wall 12 terminates in an outstanding ledge 19, 20 of angle section to facilitate handling of the bin and a similar ledge may be provided on the wall 13. The walls 12, 13, 16 may be formed from a sheet metal pressing welded or otherwise secured to the trapezium-shaped walls 14, 15 which may have flanges for attachment purposes. Various arrangements are described for locating the superposed bins against lateral movement, that shown comprising a lug 22 near the upper end of a side wall 15 and spaced lugs 23 on the lower edge there g, the lug 22 on one bin engaging between the lugs 23 of a superposed bin.
