[Class 99 (i).] In a disconnectible hose coupling of the kind shown and including a number of spring- pressed plungers a each of which is located within a lateral housing x and is adapted to be retracted by a rotatable member e which is mounted on the end of the said housing and is secured to the plunger by a nut c, accidental removal of the nut c is prevented by one or more washers b which are disposed between the nut and the member e and are provided with one or more teeth b<1> engaging longitudinal grooves a<1> on the screw-threaded end of the plunger. Actuation of the plungers a may be effected by rotatable cam devices g.
