Abstract

412,671. Plug &c. couplings. BRITISH INSULATED CABLES, Ltd., Prescot, and RAWLINSON, J., 173, Edge Lane Drive, Broad Green, Liverpool, both in Lancashire. Feb. 6, 1933, No. 3551. [Class 38 (i).] A pin contact 2 is formed by bending sheet metal, leaving a slot 3 into which enters a clamping screw 4 in the side of a socket 5, the pin being thus expanded in the socket. Part of the sheet from which the pin is formed is left flat to form a shank 6 that can be riveted between a pair of strips forming a bus-bar 7. A supply terminal 12 may be similarly attached to the bus-bar between the pins, the whole being thus adapted to serve as a distributer in a multiple fuse or other box.
