412,621. Mixing-apparatus, BRITISH UNITED SHOE MACHINERY CO., Ltd., Union Works, Belgrave Road, Leicester.- (United Shoe Machinery Corporation; 140, Federal Street, Boston, U.S.A.) Jan. 2, 1933, No. 20. [Class 86.] A device for mixing the contents of tins comprises a cagelike frame in which the tin is placed, the frame being mounted on rotating supports by means of which the tin is rotated about an axis which varies slightly in inclination, during such rotation, to the axis of the supports. The frame comprises ring-like members 32, connected by members 34 for holding the tin, and riding on rollers 29, 30 mounted on interconnected parallel shafts 10, 12, some, or all, of the rollers being eccentric. Cylindrical cans may be directly supported on the rollers.
