[Class 80 (iii).] Casings for Bowden wire are made of two or more closely interwound wire coils, which, when the casing is bent, move relatively in radial directions so that the length of the casing remains constant. One or both of the coils may be of triangular or trapezoidal section, or one may be circular. In the former case the angle of the apex pointing inwards should not exceed 45‹ and that of the other 60‹.
