Abstract
412,117. Light -sensitive cells. DRESLER, A., 15, Grolmanstrasse, Charlottenburg, Berlin. Dec. 4, 1933, No. 34044. [Classes 39 (i), 40 (iii), and 40 (v).] A light-sensitive cell is provided with a composite filter such that different parts of its surface are shielded by filter elements having different characteristics. Thus there may be two pieces of glass 2, 21 of one colour and a piece 3 of another colour with an overlap 4 between the pieces 2<1> and 3, and a hole 5 leaving a portion of the surface unscreened. The filter may comprise overlapping green and yellow component parts dimensioned to give a sensitivity characteristic which resembles that of the human eye ; and may be used for comparing light-sources for therapeutical purposes, or for testing photographic material. The screen may comprise a mosaic instead of parallel bands of differently coloured glass.
