Abstract

404,591. Domestic and factory waterheating installations. ZOPICK, A., 3, Dessauerstrasse, Zehlendorf, Berlin. Sept. 23, 1933, No. 26312. [Class 64 (i).] The water in a reservoir 1 is heated in a heat exchanger 4 between which and the return pipe 3 to the reservoir is mounted a degasifying chamber 5. The degasifying chamber, the return pipe and a delivery pipe 11 are all disposed above the highest part of the reservoir. The degasifying chamber is provided with an automatic gas escape valve 6 and an inner pipe up which the water rises before returning on the outside of this pipe to the reservoir. The water in the heat exchanger may be heated by steam from a boiler 7, electrically, or otherwise. A cooler 12 may be connected to the delivery pipe to adjust the temperature of the heated water, and to prevent degasification of the water after leaving the reservoir.
