Abstract

402,628. Tubular heat-exchangers. CHAMAYOU, B. E., St.-Amancet, Tarn, France. Feb. 21, 1933, No. 5356. Convention date, Feb. 23, 1932. [Class 64 (iii).] The tubes of a surface condenser &c. are inserted into the oblique openings 3 in the tube-plates without initial flexure, the desired permanent curvature of the tubes being obtained by securing the ends of the tubes in the openings which are of appropriate obliquity. Intermediate plates 4 may be provided.
