Convention date, Sept. 13, 1932. [Class 89 (i).] A wedge or anchor bolt comprises a shell, the limbs of which taper towards a connecting piece 1. Grooves 9 are cut in the shell so that it may be bent round a wedge-nut 3 with the connecting- piece passing below the bolt 2 on which the nut 2 works. Tightening the bolt causes the shell to expand to walls 6 of the hole into which the anchor bolt is inserted. In a modification the end of the bolt bears on a cup resting on the connecting-piece.
