[Class 142 (iv).] Insulating sleeving of the kind comprising sets 1, 2 of cotton or other textile strands arranged obliquely to the axis of the sleeving and crossing each other, is reinforced against longitudinal extension by a further set 3 of strands which are disposed substantially parallel tc the axis of the sleeving and which are interlaced with the sets 1, 2. The sleeving may be treated with dope, such as cellulose varnish.
