Abstract
401,206. Partitions &c. for boxes &c. YGBERG, A. M., 10, Gibraltargatan, Gothenburg, Sweden. May 13, 1933, No. 13981. [Class 18.] A structural member suited for the production of walls &c. which are accurately adjustable longitudinally, e.g. partitions forming compartments in boxes or on shelves, consists of a wood, pasteboard, metal or other sheet material structure comprising a projection 1, Figs. 1 and 2, two spaced side walls 2, 3 forming a groove 4 and a plate 5 closing one edge of the groove 4. The projection 1 of one member is inserted in the groove 4 of an adjacent member, adjustment being effected by relative movement of the projection in the groove. On the end members of a sequence of-such units the projection 1 may be omitted. The units may be secured to each other and to a substructure by glue. The parts 2, 3, 5 may be bent from a single sheet and the part 1 may be formed from a double-folded sheet. In Fig. 9 the units are each formed from a single metal &c. sheet. In Fig. 10 the projection 13 is loose and walls 15, 16 are spaced by a member 17. Connecting pieces of any suitable form are arranged at the corners and crossing points of partition.
