400,156. Catamenial appliances. TEKSHON CORPORATION, 103, Park Avenue, New York, U.S.A. Jan. 12, 1932, No. 889. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, July 2, 1932.] [Class 81 (ii).] A catamenial appliance comprises a belt with downwardly - extending straps, a pad carrier, and means upon the straps whereby they may be attached either to the pad carrier or directly to an absorbent pad. The belt 1 is of elastic material and is attached at its ends to a ring 4 from which an elastic strap 5 depends. Another strap 5<1> is attached to the front part of the belt, and each strap is provided with a wire clasp 7 and a stud 8 for securing the ends of an absorbent pad or of a pad-carrier 10. The carrier is preferably made of sheet rubber and is provided on its upper side with an oval opening 15 in which an absorbent pad is inserted.
