[Classes 113 (ii) and 114.] A rudder A and fixed rudder stem B are mounted so that the greatest breadth of the rudder is greater than that of the stem, the pivotal axis C is in front of the greatest breadth of the rudder by a distance D approximately equal to that breadth, whilst the breadth of the stem B is about half the breadth of the rudder A but greater than its own length.
