394,860. Coating fabrics. TAMBRALI, N. C., Mangalwar Peth, Sholapur, Bombay, India. Oct. 21, 1932, No. 29494. [Class 140.] Apparatus for coating fabrics for tarpaulins &c. comprises a frame carrying a supply roller 1, guide rollers 2, 3, an angle iron guide bar 4 constituting a scraper or doctor, a periorated cylinder 7 which sprinkles saw-dust on the coated fabric, and a take-up roller 9. Waterproofing solution is poured or sprinkled on the fabric in the trough formed by the guide roller 3 and the scraper 4 ; excess solution drops into a trough 12. The machine is operated by rotating a handle 11.
