Abstract

394,617. Shaving-brushes. BRITTON, A. B., 28, Deepdene Road, Denmark Hill, London. Feb. 16, 1933, No. 4773. [Class 19.] The tuft of bristles 3 is vulcanized in a ring 1 made from material known under the registered Trade Mark " Bakelite " or from similar non- metallic material, the ring being longitudinally milled on the inside, and being permanently secured within a handle 4. The ring is preferably screwthreaded on the outside to engage screw-threads in a socket 5, cement being introduced between the threads before engagement. A flange 1a on the ring limits the extent to which the ring is screwed into the handle. As the flange 1a is visible, rings 1 of different coloured material may be employed so that various ornamental or identification effects may be obtained.
