393,688. Collapsable advertising- models. ROME, J. E., 14, Sandheys Avenue, Waterloo, Liverpool. Jan. 18, 1932, No. 1391. [Class 3 (ii).] In a collapsable advertising-model of the kind wherein a flexible member is projected forwardly from a supporting sheet by a strut member so as to simulate a cylindrical container or like article, the strut member, constructed from a single sheet, comprises ear pieces 8a pivotally connected to the supporting sheet 4, and an intermediate member 8b which is hinged thereto by scores 8c and is itself scored along a line 8d. On pivoting the ear pieces into a position substantially at right-angles to the sheet 4 the member 8b is thrust forwardly in V-formation so as to pivot members 7 about hinges 7a and, through these, projects the flexible member 6 to the display position. A substantial turning movement of the members 7 about their hinges 7a is facilitated by cutting away substantially triangular portions 9, 10 from the member 8b. Specification 379,163 is referred to.
