Abstract

393,218. Stencils. KOPF, H. A. E., 96, Knobelsdorffstrasse, Charlottenburg, Berlin. Jan. 3, 1933, No. 218. Convention date, Jan. 9, 1932. [Class 100 (ii).] A templet for use in making multi-coloured patterns is provided with firmly attached straight or curved staves H, J, K, L which separate the templet into fields for different colours, the staves being adapted to serve at the same time as guides for a colour distributer. The latter consists of a rigid ledge S, Fig. V, carrying yielding strips M, P, &c., each the width of the area to be coloured, and provided at the front and at the rear of the ledge S, whereby, when the distributer is moved across the templet, being guided by the staves H, J, K, L and the raised rim C thereof, colour is carried along partly in front of and partly between the strips, as many colours as desired being fully applied to a surface by means of a single distributer in one working step.
