Nov. 3,1931, No. 21763/32. Divided on 391,803. [Class 74 (ii).] Mechanism for lapping the guides of a warp machine without backlash comprises double cams acting directly on the guides in the direction of their length. An end frame 10 carries a dust and oil tight casing 12 in which are housed levers 19, 20 mounted on pivots 17, 18. Rollers 23 .. 26 pivoted on the enlarged free ends of the levers are operated by the faces of cams 33, 34 and act on push-rods 41, 42, universal joints 43 .. 46 and guide-bars 47, 48. Attached to the casing 12 is a chain-drive mechanism for the warp feed.
