Abstract
389,745. Table games. MARSHALL, E. G., 46, Bishops Road, Fulham, London. Sept. 15, 1932, No. 25662. [Class 132 (ii).] Appliances for playing a table game comprise an inclined board E, Fig. 1, over which balls are projected from a raised starting platform F by means of cues. The board and its upwardly inclined extension D are provided with holes L of different sizes in which the balls are adapted to lodge. The balls are similar to those used in playing table tennis, they are biased and are considerably larger in diameter than the holes in the board. The holes are each assigned a scoring value and pegholes are provided in the sides and end of the board for marking the scores obtained by the player. The balls and other accessories are stored in a container B when not in use. Shallow receptacles H are provided adjacent the platform F to retain balls prior to their projection. The board is inclined towards the platform end by interposing rubber-covered wedges therebeneath. Cue-rests.-A cue-rest for use in playing the game comprises a block O of triangular cross section provided with an arcuate recess R to receive the cue and fitted with rubber bands Q to prevent its slipping.
