388,675. Atmospheric vapour-burners. AKTIEBOLAGET RADIUS, Tellusborg, Stockholm. Aug. 26, 1932, No. 23959. Convention date, Aug. 27, 1931. [Class 75 (i).] A cleaning needle 12 and a vapour-controlling valve 17 are so related that when one is operative the other is inoperative and vice versa. As shown, a needle valve 17 for controlling the inlet 18 to the nipple 10 is provided with a screw-threaded operating spindle 15 comprising a pinion 19 engaging a rack 14 carrying the cleaning needle 12 so that the latter moves from the inoperative into the operative position when the valve 17 is moved from the operative into the inoperative position. A length of pinion rod may be turned down at one end to form the valve 17 and at the other end to form a pin 20 for attachment to the spindle 15.
