Abstract

388,263. Coach-screws. BIASI, B., 29, Chemin Meney, Grenoble, Isere, France. May 24, 1932, No. 14747. [Class 89 (ii).] A coach-screw has a detachable head 2 which is locked in place by a cotter 5. In a modification, Fig. 3, the screw has shoulders 9 which engage recesses 8 when the head is partially turned, the latter being then locked by a square bar 11, engaging corresponding recesses in the head and screw. In a further modification a screwed head is locked by a split pin.
