387,528. Frying-ranges. JACKSON, L., 720, Annette Street, Toronto, Canada. March 23, 1932, No. 8646. [Class 126.] A fish and potato frying range comprises a hot food closet or oven 33 having a hinged lid 34 and a sliding tray 36 with a perforated top shelf 35, detachable casings 17 covering a frying-pan at each side of the oven, upwardly extending flues 21, 22 detachably secured to these casings and connected to a main flue, and a pan 50 removably mounted in the main flue to collect condensates. In the construction shown, the flues 21, 22 have horizontal top portions leading to a centrally-situated j unctionbox 23, to which are also connected a flue 32 leading up from the combustion chamber and the main flue 24. The condensation pan 50 closes the bottom of the box 23, which is provided with apertures 41 to allow steam collecting under the canopy to pass to the flue. Hinged lids 20 are provided on the pan covers 17. The oven 33 is heated by steam rising from a watercontaining tray 38 slidably mounted below it and passing through perforations in the floor 37.
