Abstract

387,034. Endless - - belt conveyers. GARDINER, C. W., White House, High Street, High Barnet, Hertfordshire. Sept. 15, 1931, No. 25849. [Class 78 (i).] In a conveyer of the kind in which a perforated belt operates in a casing a, material is discharged through an aperture in the floor of the casing by a scraper c of rubber, felt-faced wood or the like, which is loosely mounted in grooves b in the sides of the casing. The under surface d of the scraper is chamfered. In a modification the scraper is mounted loosely in a housing forming part of the casing and projects laterally into the casing to a degree which is adjustable.
