[Class 30.] A resilient clamped safetyrazor blade is relieved of internal stress and its cutting edges are enabled to adapt themselves to the surface shaved by providing slits c extending from the cutting edges to small apertures e and wedge-shaped side incisions a extending to the aligning apertures f. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 shows also a blade having two slits extending from one cutting edge to the aligning apertures f and a single slit extending from the other to the central clamping aperture, no side incisions being provided. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
