Abstract
384,569. Signs. HORLICK, O. P., of Horlick's Malted Milk Co., Stoke Poges Lane, Slough, Buckinghamshire. June 4, 1932, No. 15788. [Classes 3 (i) and 3 (ii).] An electric mixer of liquids is combined with an electrically illuminated box sign which may be permanently or intermittently lit, or which may be lit only when the mixing motor is in operation. Fig. 1 shows a sign 1 carried by two legs 5, 6 to which is secured a clamping band 9, 9d which grips the motor 7 driving the mixer 8. Contact balls 21, 22 and strips 12, 13 put the sign lamp in circuit with the motor. The band 9, 9d may be replaced by a permanent connection between the sign 1 and motor 7. Fig. 7 shows a modification in which the sign 1 is mounted on a hollow part 25 of a pedestal 24 carrying the motor 7 in brackets 26.
