Abstract
383,982. Plug couplings. BELLING & LEE, Ltd., Queensway Works, Ponders End, Middlesex, and CAIRNS, S., 33, Percy Street. London. Aug. 13, 1931, No. 22882. [Class 38 (i).] A resilient pin is formed by bending strip or sheet metal to form two or more legs 1, 5 connected by a rounded or tapered nose portion 7, one or more of the legs being fixed in a support by a caulked wedge 4, and one or more legs being free at the upper end. The pin may be fixed in a metal bush 3 or it may project through an insulating bush, the lead being secured as described in Specification 329,465, [Class 38 (i), Electric couplings &c.]. A flange may depend from the bush to limit the outward movement of the free limb 5. Specifications 329,371 and 335,642, [both in Class 38 (i), Electric couplings &c.], are referred to.
