[Class 108 (i).] A scavengers' vehicle adapted for other purposes such as conveying other materials or mixing concrete comprises a rotatable container 2 divided intc two compartments by an inner shell 9, conveyers such as 10, 11 being provided together with a charging aperture 8 in the hinged rear door 7. Material fed into the aperture 8 is conveyed along the inner chamber and drops into the outer chamber to be conveyed by reverse conveyers 11 to the rear door 7 and compacted there or, if the door be open, to be discharged.
