382,594. Mixing concrete. HOFFMANN, E. A., 164, Clymer Street, Reading, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. July 5, 1932, No. 19043. Convention date, July 13, 1931. [Class 86.] Apparatus for conditioning ready-mixed concrete comprises a cylindrical container 18 mounted on a motor chassis and fitted with helical blades 35 set at an obtuse angle with the side of the container whereby rotation in one direction effects a gentle movement of the concrete without rupture of the surface. Rotation in the opposite direction discharges the concrete through a conical aperture 36 fitted with a removable door 36.
