381,938. Burners. HAILWOOD.E.A., Beacon House, Texas Street, Morley, near Leeds. June 9, 1931, No. 16722. Addition to 282,490, [Class 75 (i), Burners &c.]. [Class 75 (i).] In a wick burner as described in the parent Specification, the cutaway sides and the top of the front plate F are cut away to a greater extent than the backplate B so as to expose a greater portion of the wick at the front, and the upper edges F<1>, B<1> are rounded off and sloped in the same direction or in opposite directions. The curved edges F<1>, B<1>, Fig. 1, may be recessed at the sides, or the plates may be formed with a flat top as shown in Fig. 5.
