[Class 130.] Tobacco &c. is conveyed pneumatically through a conduit a, the exit from which reciprocates over the discharged material. The underside of the tube a may be open, the gap being traversed by a sleeve d to which may be attached a deflector e. Dust and air may be exhausted through perforations in the deflector e, the upper side of the tube a and the sieve-like paddle-wheel on to which the tobacco falls.
