379,526. Stands. RAVENEL, A.; 347, Rue St.-Martin, Paris. Sept. 9, 1931, No. 25313. Convention date, Sept. 17, 1930. [Class 52 (v).] A shoe stand consists of a glass &c. plate supported in a vertical plane by a base member, the upper edge of the plate being inclined and provided with one or more bearing plates to support the shoe. In the construction shown a semicircular glass plate 1 is adjustably held between the lugs 4 of a base member 2 and the upper edge 1a is provided with clip on bearing plates 6, 7 for the heel and sole of the shoe. The heel plate 6 has an upstanding lug 6a to prevent the shoe slipping. The plate 6 may be dispensed with, the heel resting on a notch formed in the plate. The bearing plates 6, 7 may be cast with the plate 1.
