[Class 52 (iii).] In a table of the kind comprising at each side, a centre rail e connected to a central table leaf, an inner rail d and an outer rail c sliding in it so as to be movable outwards to support leaves hinged to the central leaf, the rail c is made deeper than the rails e, d. Preferably the rail e is deeper than the rail d, and the pairs of rails are connected by stretchers g at different levels so that they may pas one another.
