Abstract

376,557. Projection screens. DARIMONT, L., 266, Rue Adolphe Willemyns, Brussels. Sept. 29, 1931, No. 27116. [Class 97 (i).] Projection screens for obtaining relief effects consist of a number of superposed layers 3, Fig. 2, of slightly translucent material such as a pure tracing paper impregnated with oil, retinol, fatty varnish, petroleum, &c. to increase its transparency. This compound screen is associated with an opaque, reflecting surface 4 which may be disposed at the back of the screen. In an alternative arrangement, the screen 3 may be associated with two reflectors 11, 12 as shown in Fig. 3, so that it is disposed between the projector and either of the reflectors, or between them. In this arrangement opaque screens 15, 16 may be interposed between the screen 3 and one of the reflectors.
