[Class 29.] Evaporators.-An evaporator unit .adapted to be used as a cold plate or in the construction of a storage chamber for ice cream &c. comprises a plate cast in aluminium &c. with one side flat and the other with a rib within which is cast the refrigerant duct c. The plates may be connected by angle-irons secured to lugs f. According to the Provisional Specification an ice cream cylinder may be cast with a spiral refrigerant duct in its wall.
