[Class 99 (ii).] A n apparatus for laying wires below the surface of the ground is shown in Figs. 11 and 12 comprising a triangular frame mounted on a wheeled shaft 31 on which are a number of grooved discs 33. A shaft 35 carries a number of reels 37 from which wire is led to the discs 33 which cut a groove in the ground and lay the wire therein, which is then covered by a drag or sled 38.
