[Class 103 (ii).] A rectangular observation mirror b for use on motor vehicles is mounted in a metal holder a having a concave or like curved cross section and bent over at its longitudinal edges a<1>, a<2> so that, after being inserted in the holder, the mirror is gripped owing to the resiliency of the holder. Adjustment of the mirror to any desired position is obtained by securing to the ends of the holder a right-angled lugs c through apertures in which pass binding screws d engaging slots e<1> in brackets e mounted on the vehicle.
