368,296. Kinematograph projectors. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London.-(Assignees of Bradford, A. J. ; Alplaus, New York, U.S.A.) Nov. 24, 1930, No. 35393. Convention date, Nov. 22, 1929. [Class 97 (i).] In a projector comprising a slide 8, adjustable horizontally for framing, and carrying the intermittent sprocket 7 and a continuous-feed sprocket 10, the length of film between the sprocket 10 and a roller 17 on a fixed axis forming part of a sound unit is kept constant, during framing adjustment, b y means of a roller or sprocket 20. The sprocket 20 is driven by the film and may be carried by links 21, 22 at their common pivotal point, the links being also pivoted concentrically with the sprocket 10 and roller 17 respectively ; the movement of the sprocket 20 may be restrained by frictional means.
