Abstract
367,041. Shoe racks. BRITISH UNITED SHOE MACHINERY CO., Ltd. and JONES, C. T., Union Works, Belgrave Road, Leicester. Nov. 18, 1930, No. 34647. [Class 52 (v).] In a shoe rack the positioning means for the shoes are so arranged that the axes of the shoes converge toward the operator to facilitate handling. The preferred form embodies shelves 13, supported by uprights 1, and having gaps arranged in pairs and fitted with a displaceable transverse bar 31 which. can, if desired, be placed across the gaps to enable the shoes to stand on their bottoms. In order that the racks may occupy a predetermined position with regard to the machine operator, stops 3, 7, Fig. 4, or other positioning devices may be provided on the floor.
